Banz - or Baby Banz is an Australian manufacturer of quality sunglasses, hearing protection, clothing and other protective equipment for babies and children.
Banz earmuffs have been developed because, as a manufacturer, Banz wants to protect children’s and babies’ hearing, which is particular sensitive in the early years. Children should also learn about the dangers of high noise levels, and be instructed in how to protect themselves against hearing damage when needed. Banz believes that if children learn at a very early age to take care of their hearing, it will be more natural to them in their teenage years, where things are often wild.
More than a third of all hearing loss can be attributed to noise, among other things, loud music (also from headphones) and noisy workplaces. Excessive noise levels over extended periods of time can lead to, among other things, Tinnitus (ringing in the ears), even as a permanent condition, and children and young people are more frequently impacted than in the past.
