TN-175 fully automatic analog turntable:

Full automatic analog turntable that combines modern technology with classic vinyl playback. Equipped with a 2-speed belt-driven operation, it is capable of playing both LPs and EPs with a simple auto-start and return function. This turntable comes pre-installed with a VM(MM) type cartridge AT3600L from audio-technica on the statically balanced straight tonearm, making it ready to use right out of the box. Unlike other plastic-chassis models, the TN-175 offers a high-quality MDF cabinet that minimizes vibration and resonance, ensuring a clearer sound reproduction of your vinyl collection. In addition, it is equipped with a built-in MM-type Phono EQ amplifier, which makes it possible to enjoy vinyl playback with any amplifier, regardless of the type of inputs. With its authentic belt drive and precision spindle supported by a DC motor, the TN-175 maintains an accurate rotation speed, while the absorbent rubber base and removable acrylic dust cover further enhance the user experience.

TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today.
