Surround processors or surround pre-amplifiers, as they are also known, are often used in larger surround installations where full control over all the system's components is desired. Here, the surround system is therefore divided into the surround processor itself and a separate multi-channel power amplifier, in the same way as in serious stereo systems.
A surround processor or stereo pre-amplifier is also suitable for systems with active speakers, e.g. from B&O, which can be connected using our special B&O trigger cables.
