Brand description - Atacama Audio

Atacama Audio started back in 1986 as a manufacturer of speaker stands. It became clear that by raising speakers off the floor and mounting them on a stand that was sonically dead, speaker performance improved enormously. At Atacama Audio, they also quickly realised that there was much to be gained from insulating HiFi equipment. This way, you realised its full potential. Regular home furniture offered far from the necessary qualities, and it was therefore necessary to design dedicated furniture products that were aesthetically pleasing, but at the same time allowed the mounted equipment to achieve optimum performance.
