The signal is sent between the to units with a CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable in the requires lengths (maximum 80 meters) depending on the cable type and quality. When the to units is connected with network cables, you use HDMI cables to connect them to the source and receiving unit (HDMI cables not included).
